Dr. Muhammad Farrukh Nisar is a highly accomplished and dynamic Assistant Professor of Physiology and Biochemistry with over eight years of distinguished experience in academia and research. Currently serving at the Department of Physiology and Biochemistry, Cholistan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (CUVAS), Bahawalpur, Pakistan, he has also held significant leadership roles, including Head of Department and Director of the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC).
Dr. Nisar’s academic credentials are robust, featuring a Post Doctorate from Jiangxi Agricultural University, China, a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Chongqing University, China, and an M.Phil. in Cell and Molecular Biology from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. A dedicated educator and mentor, Dr. Nisar has successfully supervised numerous M.S. students and is proficient in a wide array of advanced laboratory techniques, including Western Blotting, qRT-PCR, Flow Cytometry, Confocal Microscopy, and Cell Culture. His work is supported by competitive grants, such as an HEC Start-up Research Grant.

STUDENTS SUPERVISED
Co-supervised one MS student under research visitor program of IRCBM, CUI Lahore Campus. The student worked on the preparation and characterization of the basic materials for the anti-aging skin creams; prepared various sized drug loaded ZnO nanoparticles. Further, conducted the cell studies for these drug-loaded ZnO NPs.
