How to Apply for International Trainings at GreenBiotec

Step 1:

Submit Your Passport and Last Degree

To start the process, send a copy of your passport and your most recent degree. These documents are necessary to initiate your application for the training program.

Step 2:

Receive Your Admission Letter

Once your documents are reviewed and approved, we will prepare an admission letter for you. This letter is essential for your visa application and other formalities.

Step 3:

Pay the Training Program Fee

After receiving the admission letter, you will have 7 to 10 days to pay the training program fee of €5000. The payment should be made directly to the institute’s account as specified in the admission letter.

Step 4:

Schedule an Appointment with the German Embassy

With the admission letter in hand, you can now take the next step by scheduling an appointment with the German embassy. This is a critical step in securing your training visa.

Step 5:

Obtain Your Training/Research Stay Visa

Within approximately one month after your embassy appointment, you should receive your training or research stay visa. This visa will allow you to stay in Germany for the duration of your training.

The maximum duration of the training program is 6 months.

Can my visa be extended after 6 months?

Yes, your visa can be extended based on a Job Search Visa. For graduated students, the extension can be up to 18 months, and for undergraduate students, up to 12 months.

What is the fee refund policy in case of visa rejection?

In the unfortunate event that your visa is rejected, your fee will be refunded, except for an HR fee of €500. This refund policy will be clearly stated in your admission letter.

What is the visa process duration?

The visa process typically takes 3 to 4 months.

What is the visa category for this training?

The training visa falls under category 16a. This is considered a work visa, not a study visa.

What are the minimum qualifications for admission to the training program?

The minimum qualification required is a 10th class (Matric) education. The program is open to applicants up to the PhD/Post-doc level.
