Dr. Amir Hussain is a distinguished Senior Bioprocess/Biochemical Engineer with over a decade of experience in biotechnology, bioprocess engineering, and microbiology. Dr. Hussain’s expertise extends to advanced training in upstream and downstream processes, where he has successfully guided undergraduate and graduate students through complex biotechnological applications. Dr. Hussain’s educational background includes a Ph.D. in Biochemical Engineering from Jacobs University Bremen and a Master’s degree in Agricultural Sciences from Faisalabad Agriculture University, Pakistan. His extensive skill set, combined with his practical experience in both academic and industrial settings, makes him a leader in the field of biotechnology and a sought-after trainer in bioprocess development.

Dr. Amir Hussain is a recognized innovator in the field of bioprocess engineering, with a proven track record of advancing the industry through his research and academic contributions. He has authored eight scientific publications and successfully managed a European Union project with a €250,000 lab grant. Currently based in Bremen, Germany, Dr. Hussain serves as a Senior Bioprocess Development Scientist at Green Biotec UG. His research has been integral to European Union-funded projects, where he developed innovative bioprocess solutions, particularly in the scale-up and transfer of microbial and mammalian cell cultivation. Dr. Rehan Zafar Paracha is a renowned interdisciplinary scientist and academic, currently serving as a Tenured Associate Professor at the School of Interdisciplinary Engineering & Sciences (SINES) at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad. With a rich and diverse background in bioinformatics, computational chemistry, systems biology, and automation, Dr. Paracha exemplifies the modern interdisciplinary approach to scientific research and education.
